You don’t want the the damp object to touch you bud, as this could cause mold.
Citrus peel, DIY style

However, they are also a bit more likely to transfer some of their flavour and aroma to your bud. Depending on the strain, this might not be a bad thing. - Cut off a small piece of citrus peel, such as from an orange or lemon
- Put piece of peel inside resealable jar with weed
